Yoga and Therapeutic Exercise During the Holistic Stay in Georgia
During the yoga retreat in Georgia, you will take part in 9 morning sessions of yoga and therapeutic exercise, which naturally alternate and complement one another throughout the journey. Each practice is carefully adapted to the surrounding environment, the pace of the group, and the individual abilities of the participants.
The sessions take place in exceptional locations across Georgia—in the mountain landscapes of the Caucasus, in cities, and by the sea. The connection of movement, breath, and nature creates space for deep rest, regeneration, and conscious slowing down.
Therapeutic Exercise and Conscious Movement
The therapeutic exercises focus on proper posture, conscious spinal alignment, and functional joint engagement. You will learn how to move safely and efficiently in harmony with the body’s natural biomechanics, so that movement brings relief, stability, and long-term benefit—rather than overload or pain.
The exercises are suitable for beginners and place strong emphasis on prevention of back pain, joint discomfort, and muscle tension, while also supporting overall vitality and confidence in movement.
A Variety of Yoga Styles Throughout the Retreat
During the stay, you will experience several yoga styles that support both the body and the nervous system at different stages of the journey:
-
Therapeutic Yoga – a gentle, mindful practice focused on releasing tension, harmonizing the nervous system, and supporting musculoskeletal health.
-
Dynamic Detox Yoga – a fluid, energizing practice that supports circulation, lymphatic flow, and the body’s natural detoxification processes.
-
Yin Yoga – a slow, deeply relaxing practice targeting fascia, joints, and deep connective tissues, promoting regeneration and inner calm.
Movement You Take Home With You
The goal of the retreat is not only yoga practice during the journey itself, but above all to help you develop healthy movement habits that you can naturally integrate into everyday life—while walking, sitting, working, or resting. Movement thus becomes a conscious part of life, supporting health, ease, and long-term balance.
